We are getting moved into our new house. It’s small, but really cozy. We love it. I still have lots to do, but I thought I would show some of it….
Goldfish for Hazel as a house warming gift. She calls them “ish” and loves them so much.
I am SO behind on taking pictures of Hazel. She has grown so much. She is practically a toddler, just not a baby anymore.
Right now her favorite words are ball, goose, dada and juice. She loves toast. If you hand her a piece, it’s like you just handed her a pot of gold. She is easy to please.
She loves playing with her toys and giving kisses. Oh, and she is getting curls. I hope she gets her dad’s hair. We loves her soooo much.

I apologize for not blogging lately. I have been very very busy. We are moving next week.
I am SO excited, but there is a lot of work to be done. Mix that in with lots of photo sessions and a teething baby!
I cannot wait to be in our own home and be settled in. When I do have spare time, I go online looking at pretty homes for inspiration.
I wanted to share one of my favorite ones. Tif was sweet enough to let me show you snip-its of her lovely home. She is the author of a blog called Dottie Angel.
Her home is really inspiring. I love her beautiful fabrics mixed with mid century pieces.
Please go on over to her blog.
I am really excited to be a part of Red Velvet Art’s spring collection. I made a few baby dresses for them. I LOVE everything in their shop.
Here are a few of my favorite things in the new collection:

My husband and I took Hazel to see her great grandma Bina this weekend. It is always an adventure packing up the baby and driving for hours.
We were pretty tired, but had a good time. Hazel loved her great grandma!
Bina’s house was really cute. She had a pink oven that was so pretty. She also had sparkles on her ceiling.
How cool is that? I think I was born in the wrong era. I would love sparkly ceilings! Here is a pictures of the darling stove and her cute cookie jar from the 50′s.
My husband’s mother passed away when he was just a boy, so it was really special for Hazel to meet her mother.
We took lots of pictures! Bina lives in a little town in northern Missouri. On Saturday we went out to all of the antique shops and thrift stores. We found lots of treasures.
Glad to be home and start a new week. Here is a project I was working on last week.
I purchased this sofa at a local thrift store and gave it a little makeover.
I am loving velvet lately. Here is the finished product:
I LOVE surprises. Especially when it involves turning the old into new.
I am thinking about doing some before and afters on here more often.
I seriously cannot wait until spring!!! Here are some cute things in honor of spring.
My friend Sarah sent me a link to this shop. Aren’t these bags adorable?
I think this is the most beautiful diaper bag. I don’t use one(I just put everything in my own purse).
But this one by Petunia Pickle Bottom might be too cute to pass up:
I am REALLY looking forward to walks & picnics in the park.
I still use Hazel’s sling all the time. They are the best. SO much better than clunky strollers!
Here is a lovely one from Serena & Lily:
But, if I do decide to use a stroller….I wouldn’t mind this one:
and this one by Paul Frank for Bugaboo
Here is a darling cardigan for those chilly days at the park. From J. Crew
Ok, that’s all for now! Will be back soon to blog a fun before & after.
How beautiful is this photo? I found this from Katie Did blog.
Please go there if you have not seen here blog. It’s so sweet.
I have been really busy working on a project. I am finally finished, and will be blogging again very soon!
