Post Thanksgiving

November 28, 2009

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!  I am so blessed with a great family(on both sides).  Get this…my whole family went to see a certain movie. It was really fun. Those of you who know me, know the movie I am talking about. Half of my family liked it, and the other half fell into a deep depression afterwards. Just kidding. But we had a wonderful day full of yummy food and lots of family time. I got up at 5:30 to go shopping with my dad(how cool is he?) We picked out a new wardrobe for him.  It was insane, but lots of fun. After shopping, I realized how badly my town needs a good kid’s store. There is nothing here in the way of cute things for kids. My dream is to one day open a kid’s store. Anyway, I will just have to resort to online shopping until that happens. Here are a few baby things that are oh so cute.

I get so inspired when I look at Anthropologie. They photographed some accessories in ice. How inventing is that? I may have to try it.

Elsie put up a great tutorial on her blog. If you’ve never visited her blog, go there now. It is for a polaroid wreath. She used some of our family pictures for it. I love it!

I have really exciting things/shoots coming up this week. Will post when I can!

Little Hazel is ten months old today. As I sit here and think about it, I still can’t believe I have a baby. I hasn’t sunk in.  I wonder if it ever will? I think I just feel too young…it seems like I  graduated high school yesterday.
Regardless, she is such a blessing. I feel so undeserving of her. It is awesome to see the little person she is becoming. My favorite thing about Hazel is her joy. You could say she is a happy baby, but happiness is based on circumstances. She has joy through everything. I love how she finds something to smile about even if she is upset, tired, or hungry. I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for her life.

Tyler and Natosha are good friends. We had a fun time taking pictures downtown. Their little son Tegan just turned one,  so we thought it fitting to take some new family pictures.  You can see this cute family sprinkled throughout the blog.

Busy week.

This week will consist of a mini vacation! I will be away from computer and phone. So excited! Time to reconnect with family and relax.

I had such a wonderful time photographing this beautiful family.  They are expecting a little girl in a couple of months! If she looks anything like her little brother, she will be a heartbreaker! It is always a joy to photograph a sweet and loving family.

Have lots to work on, but thought I would post a picture of Hazel from the other day. Have a great weekend!

Family Pictures

November 13, 2009

We were able to take our first family pictures with the very talented and adorable Elsie Flannigan. I love her style and creativity. We had fun walking downtown, and playing with her dog Suki (who Hazel loved).

I have 3 wonderful brothers, who are all my best friends. Here is Kyle  and his beautiful girlfriend, Kaitlin. Being a sister to three brothers is hard, I have to be extra picky when they get girlfriends! I could not ask for a better girlfriend for Kyle! Kaitlin lives in Delaware, so they do not see each other a lot. Last time she was in town, we snapped some pics:
